My current experience is in publishing, arts and entertainment industry. I have been a full time activist in Kansas since nineteen eighty one, working on environmental issues and health issues. When I first moved to Kansas I worked for the Department of Agriculture, after that I was on the start up team for Wichita's first city magazine, The Wichitan.
In the late eighties I formed the company, Davwill. We were a training and high profile security company, and I was the first person in Wichita allowed to train Security officers and Detectives. We trained private citizens, Law enforcement and military personnel.
Before I decided to get back into the Arts, I worked in Loss prevention, high tech security systems, and efficiency and expediting. I have an extensive background in financial oversight, network security and administration. As a long time activist, I continue to sit on various boards dealing with homeless issues, food security, Arkansas river issues (Stormwater runoff) Entrepreneurship, crime prevention, and more.
W.A.STOFER has created a district 3 community portal that includes community participation through live streaming the district meetings and a radio show featuring all things happening in our local area. The new website also features a new digital newspaper highlighting what the city council is doing to benefit our district plus other news and various events. .This is one of the many initiatives he has created to bring neighbors together, improve the district and attract investors. Stofer spearheaded the program to post ideas to improve the district by opening communications through the community services representative. Ideas, and proposals need to flow freely through the system and not be left unread and ignored.
"There should always be a sanctuary for social imagination."
Elect William Stofer For City Council District 3 On November 7th
It's time to elect a candidate that is fiscally conservative and who believes in limited government, transparency, equality, and the elimination of red tape. A candidate that promotes sustainability, conservation, health, safety and basic human rights. William Stofer will bring new vision to the city while protecting the taxpayer's interest, and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit. William Stofer a candidate for the people, not special interest.
